True story: I had a shower using this soap and went outside to visit my wife on our patio. When she was about 4 feet away she said “were you using patchouli soap?!?” I could smell that delightful musky fragrance when I sniffed my arm, but didn’t think about it further.  At suppertime we dined at a local restaurant and as I was paying my bill the server asked if I was wearing a patchouli fragrance (which apparently lingered from my morning shower) and said that she found it pleasant, as she was also a fan of patchouli.

2025 note: My price for Patchouli Essential Oil has jumped from $152 per litre to $508 per litre.  This, unfortuately, has forced me to raise the price on bars with significant amounts of Patchouli.
